Virendera Textiles PP Rope Gabions are manufactured usingPolypropylene(PP)ropes of diameter 9 mm having adequately stabilized for degradationagainst Ultraviolet radiation. The Rope used to manufacture these gabions is 4strand shroud laid. The construction of the nets is woven joint withintersection of the ropes. As polymer is inert to corrosive coastal environment,polymer rope gabions are highly preferred for coastal protection works. Polymerropes Gabions are ideally suited as armour layer in resisting all erodibleeffects of waves. Boulder fill can be done in-situ or gabions can be prefilledand installed in place with the help of crane. Adjacent gabions are tiedtogether to form a continuous monolithic structure.
